2022年12月31放送の紅白歌合戦で、舞台背景に高さ日本一の大型灯籠「愛季」の画像が使用されましたのでぜひ本物を見に来てください。
Did you know? The image of ‘Chikasue’, Japan’s tallest castle lantern float, was used in the stage background of NHK’s Kohaku Uta Gassen (a popular annual New Year’s Eve television musical special in Japan) broadcast on New Year’s Eve in 2022.
So be sure to come see the actual Chikasue and Noshiro Tanabata’s other popular floats up close this summer!

Noshiro Tanabata Festival”Lantern Castle in the Sky”Tenku no Fuyajo
Tenku no Fuyajo is an annual festival in Noshiro City. It features one of Japan’s tallest lantern floats towering at 24.1 meters! This float, along with a few others are pulled down the main street by locals every year.
Enjoy this ancient tradition, and feel the energy of the local people from a reserved front-row seat.
